Family History Friday is here!
I am so excited! I love family history research and stories so much. Each time I read a story about a family member or someone’s ancestor, it spurs me on to keep looking for my ancestors who are still ‘lost’ to me.
Please feel free to share stories from your blogs about your own family – vacations you have taken, lessons learned, or research you have found on an ancestor. Each of these stories is important to document and to share. Someone else may be looking for the research you have found on a long-lost ancestor.
On to our FEATURED posts from last week…
(I selected the top two posts based on total clicks each post received.)
Both of our Featured posts for Week 2 are by Dr. Elise Cohen Ho. These two go hand-in-hand with each other so both are being featured. If you did not read them last week, please take a few moments to read them now. They are touching and remind us each day is important to spend with our family!
The first post by Dr. Ho is A Song of a Father’s Death. Tissue warning: I was crying before the end of the post. It was touching to see a husband and wife communicate in the middle of a family crisis with just a look or a nod.

The second post by Dr. Ho is The Day After. Walk through the day after Dr. Ho and family learned of her father-in-law’s passing. Her heartache for her husband and family is felt through her words and actions.

Family History Friday Link Party Week 3
Who will be next week’s Featured Bloggers? It could be you!
Family History Friday is a weekly link up party!
Each Friday, a new Family History Friday Link Up Party post will go live. Please post your links during the link up time frame. (If you miss the current week, just come back on Friday and add your link to the new week’s link up.)
We make family history daily with our own families! Posts need not be filled with your latest research find or brick-wall. (Though please share these if you have them!)
You are welcome to share posts highlighting vacations, taking your kids to college, your own life stories, things you have learned as a parent, what you wish you would have known before having kids, the sky is (almost) the limit!
(Please keep posts family friendly.)
